A Naval Architect is a professional engineer who specializes in the design, construction, and maintenance of ships, boats, and other maritime structures. They are responsible for making sure that these structures are safe, seaworthy, and efficient in their intended operating environment. Naval Architects use their knowledge of materials science, hydrodynamics, propulsion systems, and other technical disciplines to create designs that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.
