The four types of administrators are:
- Systems Administrators: responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, especially multi-user computers, such as servers.
- Network Administrators: responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of a computer network. This includes ensuring the security and privacy of sensitive data, implementing and maintaining security measures, and performing regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Database Administrators: responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of an organization’s database systems. They ensure that data is stored securely and can be retrieved quickly and efficiently.
- Security Administrators: responsible for the security of an organization’s computer systems and networks. They implement and maintain security measures, such as firewalls, access controls, and data encryption, to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data. They also monitor the network for security breaches and respond to security incidents.
