The African Training Centre in South Africa, also known as the African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development (CAFRAD), is a continental organization that provides training and capacity-building services to public administration officials in Africa. CAFRAD was established in 1964 by the United Nations as a specialized agency to provide training and development support for public administrators in Africa. The South African branch of CAFRAD provides a range of training and capacity-building services to public administrators in Africa, including training courses, seminars, workshops, and conferences. These programs aim to enhance the skills, knowledge, and competencies of public administrators in Africa, with the goal of improving governance and public service delivery on the continent.
